Inpatient Rehabilitation

A short term (20 day) stay at HCHR following a 3 night hospitalization will give you the time to focus on your recovery following surgery, an accident or medical illness. During your stay you will receive, as appropriate, Physical, Occupational and Speech Language therapy to help increase your strength, endurance, and mobility to get you back to your prior level of function without the stress of trying to cook, clean or care for family, pets and friends. You can focus on you and your recovery.

HCHR is very blessed to have to ability to perform swallow studies at our facilities without having to wait for an appointment and then transport our patients out to the hospital for testing. This is done through our Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) Equipment and performed by our Speech Language Pathologist.
